Zone 1 or Zone 2 or potentially explosive dust atmospheres Zone 20, Zone 21 or Zone 22.

NOTES ON USE AND APPLICATION: The products do not have any moving parts, electrical circuits or other parts that would provide an
effective ignition source under normal operation, expected malfunction or rare malfunction. The products do not have their own source
of ignition and any ignition risks related to conditions of use are controlled by the end user. Therefore, it is Sira’s opinion that the product
does not fall within the scope of Directive 94/9/EC due to the lack of any potential ignition source inherent to the design and proper use
of the finished product. The material the Leather case for Motorola 4801 ATEX (I/S) Digital Radio cover is manufactured from is
electrically non-conductive and therefore subject to electrostatic build-up, which under certain extreme conditions could produce a
discharge spark which may be capable of ignition, therefore the end user shall ensure that the equipment is not used in a way that might
cause a build-up of electrostatic charge. The metallic parts of the Leather case for Motorola DP4401 / 4801 ATEX (I/S) Digital Radio are
manufactured from non-sparking alloys which is the basis of preventing ignition causing sparks within an explosive environment. A
comprehensive risk analysis pertaining to the particular application should be performed by a competent safety professional concerning
the requirements of ATEX 99/92/EC Directive in order to determine total compliance with the Directive.
