- The 3M™ PELTOR™ rechargeable battery pack is Ex approved and intrinsically safe when connected to a WS LiteCom Pro III Ex
headset. MT73H7*4D10EU-50 (European model) meet the standards of IECEx, ATEX and ANZEx while MT73H7*4D10NA-50
(USAC model) meet the standards of CSA, certified in the US and Canada. Please refer to the safety guide of the headset for
approval levels.
Battery pack is delivered in “shipping-mode” to reduce self-discharge and will not start until the charger is attached. When the red
LED lights up, the battery pack is turned on and charging starts.
When battery is not connected to a product all terminals are de-energized to minimize any corrosion or short circuit risks.
To be compliant with the European Common Charger Directive, the battery can only be charged outside the product. When battery
is attached to the product the charging function is disabled electronically. To charge the battery, remove it from the product and
connect it to the the charger cable. The LED will flash green and red if the charging cable is connected while battery is in the
product.
